By the end of the workshop, you'll have explored how to:

• Understand AI's capabilities and limitations: Explore how generative AI works, where it may be useful in the workplace and why human oversight remains important.
• Identify neuroinclusive opportunities: Recognise ways AI might support communication, executive functions, information processing and accessibility for different employees.
• Practise using AI in everyday work: Develop and adapt prompts for meetings, communication, planning, learning resources and workplace workflows.
• Evaluate responsible AI use: Consider confidentiality, data protection, bias, accuracy, organisational policies and the risks of over-reliance.
• Develop an inclusive AI action plan: Identify practical ways to explore AI while respecting individual choice, accessibility needs and organisational responsibilities.

People experience communication, attention, executive functions, sensory demands and information processing differently. Workplace systems and expectations can sometimes create unnecessary barriers, even when everyone is working towards the same goal.

Drawing on psychology, neuroscience, learning design and neuroinclusive practice, we'll explore where AI might help make workplace tasks and learning more accessible.

We'll also consider where AI could introduce new barriers, including inaccurate information, inaccessible outputs or pressure to use tools that don't suit everyone's needs.

The aim is to make thoughtful choices that support people and the work they do.

I've never used AI before. Can I join?
Absolutely. We'll start with the basics, and no technical knowledge is required.

Do I need a paid AI subscription?
No paid subscription is required for the workshop.

Is this suitable for managers as well as L&D professionals?
Yes. The examples can be adapted across different roles, teams and organisational settings.

Will we cover data protection and confidentiality?
Yes. We'll discuss responsible use, including why confidential or personal workplace information shouldn't be entered into unapproved AI tools.
